An old friend who was in town called me the other day and asked if I would meet him for dinner. I had met him around 1995 when I was mailing these work from home books in the mail and he was the recipient of one of my booklets, I was a new Herbalife distributor and really unaware of Network marketing and the many aspects of it.
So the next day I met Bill Magee and his son William Magee who I had never met before, Bill is from Texas and I live in Reno so it's not very often that we have a chance to see each other.
I am not an Herbalife distributor any more but Bill told me that he is still an active distributor but he does not sell the products, just mainly takes some of the products. We had a nice dinner at the buffet and everyone probably ate too much, the food was so good.
After dinner Diana, my Daughter and I went to the garage to leave and decided to look down to the street, we were on the sixth floor of the parking garage. Ashley noticed Bill and William walking down the street and told me and Diana there's Bill and William. I said where, and had a hard time recognizing them from the sixth floor as it was around 9:30 PM so it was dark.
She was right! There they were, going back to the hotel where they were staying. I think they mentioned they were staying at the Eldorado, but I didn't mention this to Ashley.
I had a dream the night before that a co-worker put 3 silver dollars into the slot machine and won a very large jackpot and told Bill and William so they said they wanted to watch as I would put three silver dollars into the megabucks machine. I don't even think the slot machine takes silver dollars anymore.
Someone was playing the machine, so I guess I saved three dollars and went back up to Ashley and Diana who went to the arcade room, Ashley is only 15. Ashley and Diana didn't get a chance to say really say goodbye to Bill and William as we went downstairs and they went to the arcade room. None of us were thinking they would be heading of back to their rooms as it was getting late.
After realizing the megabucks machine was occupied and might be for a while I decided to just save the 3 bucks and headed back upstairs after saying goodbye to Bill and William.
After seeing them walking down the street, Ashley told me afterwards she visualized seeing them walking down there because she waned to say goodbye and didn't get a chance to.
Once we seen Bill and William down there, we start yelling their names and it took a while for them to hear and see us. Once they spotted us on the sixth floor we all waved and probably everyone got a kick out of it.
Ashley visualized seeing them, not even knowing that they could possibly be down there, and there they were. She wanted to have a chance to say goodbye and by visualizing it - it happened! I guess that's the power of the subconscious mind.
